We just got back from the 99th annual Pendleton Round Up. It would be fair to say this is the social event of the year for North East Oregon. Wandering the streets you see lots neighbors and old friends.
The rodeo it self is unique because it is the only rodeo that takes place on grass. This adds an extra element to the events because grass makes the ground harder and slicker.
A special thanks goes out to Ross from Pepsi who attends the event with my family each year and ensures that the good times roll during this little 2 day vacation. See ya at the 100 year celebration next year buddy! Let'er Buck!
