Bob, Kay, Abbie, and I started on our Virginia adventure at 6AM on Friday AM with a drive to PDX to catch a plain. We got the the airport 2 hours before out scheduled boarding time, but 3 hours before we actually boarded. Our planes take off was delayed by an hour due to poor weather in our connecting city Chicago. This could have been troublesome because our connecting flight took of an hour after our original Chicago landing time. Luckily we made our connecting flight and got to Tirza, Mike, and Alana's at about 4AM. Unfortunately our luggage did not. Talking to United the luggage is Norfolk, but they do not know when it will make it to our house.
With the additional airport I learned how to post on this blog from my mobile phone. This should be great for quick updates during our trip up to Williamsburg later this week, stay tuned.
