Abbie, Mike, Maddie, Kimberly and I tried go camping at my parents cabin this weekend, but things did not go as planned. We were not able to blaze the 8 mile snow covered trail to the cabin, and had to turn around about 1 mile in.
We then went to Plan B, rent a cabin from the Scoop-N-Steamer Station in nearby Sumpter, Oregon. These small cabins located in town were plenty big enough for the 5 of us, and only cost $84 a night, a pretty good deal. Also the restaurant was only 20ft away and served a great breakfast. So if you wanna go camping without really camping this would be the place for you.
