Nathaniel’s Summer of Fun!

Nathaniel has had a busy summer to say the least.
 

Nathaniel Aaron - Month 12 - July 2012

In July we took our first hike together, and had lunch at Strawberry Lake.  We had a good time at the lake, and Nathaniel slept on the the walk up and down the hill.  It was the month of July were Nathaniel got to play with his first sprinkler, and he has been getting excited every time he has seen one since.

Nathaniel Aaron - Month 13 - August 2012

In August Nathaniel shared his first birthday party with his cousin Kaila.  It was a fun time with their cousins and little friends all there to play with them.  Special thanks to Auntie Tirza and Gaylene who worked so hard on putting the party together.

Nathaniel Aaron - Month 14 - September 2012

September was a quieter month, we spent a lot of evening just playing at Grandma and Grandpa’s.  This month he crawled up and down the steps to their house every day, checking out all the little shrubs on the way and telling me about them.  He also got really interested in clocks and would point at one every time he saw it.  September was also the first time he did mechanical work with Grandpa.  We just happened to visit while he was working in his bike, and Nathaniel took right to it, placing the wrench on the bolt with no help!

Nathaniel Aaron - Month 15 - October 2012

In October Nathaniel did not get to spend as much time outside as he would like, but he started to develop quickly.  I think we can count his first work as “clock”, and his second word as “hat”.  They are not perfect, but he is close.  Also in Mid-October when he was visiting grandma he stood up and took 2 steps, but has not felt the need to repeat this feat.
