Nathaniel's April Update

Nathaniel is growing up fast, and in April he claimed more independence for himself.  Although he loves to play with his family, Nathaniel has started to play alone as well.  Most of his play time involves trains, numbers, or letters.  Nathaniel now knows all his numbers and letters and loves to point them out everywhere he goes.

Nathaniel, Lacy, and I went to the Seneca PTA Bingo in April.  While the big kids played bingo, Nathaniel was happy playing with a group full of kids ranging in age from 2-6 for 3 hours.  Once his saw there were trains in the play room he was sold on the idea.

The three of us also took a couple day trips.  The first was to the the Black Mt Cabin were we enjoyed walking up and down the cabins porch steps, and shared a picnic lunch.  The second trip was to view the Ice Caves and Yellowjacket Reservoir.  View the photos here.
